Someone used to own it in Wheaton, IL and sold it at a garage sale to a friend and fellow Wheaton College student. This friend subsequently gave it to us when she graduated and it became our "first" couch in our "first" post-graduation apartment. That was just over 10 years ago. It traveled from Chicago to our first rental home in Winter Park. It moved into our current home about 8 years ago. It got put out to the curb today...and two college girls just picked it up and loaded it on top of their little car. Good bye love seat. We will miss your incredible sinking-in-ness.

what are you replacing it with?
ReplyDeleteI guess since we're not there anymore it's ok that you gave away the Burns' official bible-study-seat. ...ryan will miss the incredible sinking-in-ness. ha. :)
ReplyDeletewe replaced it with the love seat from the "away room" -- which is really now the play room.
ReplyDeleteShout out to Jenny for the couch . . I can't believe how long we had it . . I'm a little sentimental about its departure. :)
NO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would have taken it lol
Sad! That was a Hart household fixture. It will be missed!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a sad day....but what a journey that squishy seated sofa has been on! I loved that sofa! I also love that you dedicated a blog post to it...great pic of Sydney! :)
